Easy to install. No cutting! No joining together! This trailer harness kit plugs into the original wiring on your vehicle and
comes with a standard rear 4-pin trailer wire connector for inserting and towing trailer equipment

Wiring Location Guide Position: Behind passenger & driver side taillight housing How to Install? Step 1 Look up the battery location in the owner's manual of your vehicle. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Be sure to fasten this negative battery terminal down and away from the battery during the installation process. Step 2A: Jeep Wrangler Open the vehicle tailgate. Locate the small trim access cover on the rear corner of the vehicle On the driver side. Use a small flat blade screwdriver to remove the cover. Step 3A: Jeep Wrangler Locate the fastener securing the taillight. Using a T-30 Torx bit to carefully remove the plastic fastener without any damage. Step 4A: Jeep Wrangler After the taillight loose, pulling straight back to carefully remove it. At the rear of the taillight, Sliding the red housing lock to the rear of the housing to disconnect the wiring harness. Separate the connectors without damaging the locking tabs. Set the taillight aside. Repeat steps 2A-4A on the other side of the vehicle. Step 5A: Jeep Wrangler Starting on the driver side, locate the side of the custom wiring harness with the yellow wire and insert it into the factory wiring harness. Make sure the connectors are carefully inserted with the locking tabs in place. Step 6A: Jeep Wrangler Adhere the black converter box using the provided double-sided tape to a flat clean surface that is out of the path of spray and debris from the rear wheels and road. Failure to mount the box in a protected area will cause loss of warranty, product failure, overheating and potential fire. Locate a grounding point near the box such as an existing screw or bolt in the frame of the vehicle or drill a 3/32" pilot hole. Step 7A: Jeep Wrangler Route the custom wiring harness end with the green wire end with the green wire and the 4-flat down the opening to the rear leaf spring shackle. Route above the frame and below the body along the rear bumper towards the passenger side. Secure any loose wires with the provided cable ties. Mount the 4-flat to the center of the vehicle near the hitch. Finish running the green wire to the passenger side. Step 8A: Jeep Wrangler On the passenger side, route the green wire up to the passenger-side taillight harness and insert the custom wiring harness into the factory wiring. Make sure the connectors are fully inserted with locking tabs in place. Step 9A: Jeep Wrangler Route the black power wire from the vehicle battery as shown on the last page of this instruction. Reinstall all items removed during install. Reconnect the negative battery terminal if disconnected at the beginning of the installation, Install the provided 4-flat dust cover to help prevent corrosion.
